On January 25, the Cornerstone Women gathered together to enjoy an evening of fellowship - with a baked potato bar and dessert followed by a program.

"Connecting Stronger" - Laura shared about Shower Teams
"Growing Deeper" - Lisa and Mandy shared about Discipleship
Kathy Gard Shared on "Serving Farther" - The Prayer Quilt Ministry
Barbara Newsone shared about R.E.S.T. - Regional Emergency Shelter Team
Rebecca Thompson shared about the Living Water Missions Trip - Summer 2013
Diane Smalley shared about the October 2013 Retreat at Woodleaf.
Door prizes were drawn.
The evening closed with prayer.
WOW EVENT - 2012
On September 21, the Cornerstone Women gathered in the Worship Center for an incredible evening.
Judy Tomm welcomed everyone to WOW - Wonderful Opportunities for Women
Brenda Kline shared about the opportunities to volunteer in the Office - supporting various ministries or projects.
Laura Anderson shared about the Caring Ministry - from bereavement, baby and bridal showers, from church hospitality to the Care Calendar for meals and other help.
Rose Godfrey shared about the Card Ministry and how she was personally touched by those who cared.
Diane Smalley spoke on Cornerstone Women Special Events - from retreats, to friendship coffees, from Special Quarterly events to game nights, movie events and much more.
Marilyn Boyd shared the opportunities available to women in the retirement years.
Shawna Craft presented the opportunities in Cornerstone Kids and Cornerstone Youth where you can help make a difference - from administrative to instructional support and more.
Judy then presented the women with the opportunity to express how they would like to get involved and encourage the family at Cornerstone.
Carolyn Manies won the door prize - a center piece for the holidays. The evening then was about to be "turned upside down" from a WOW Event to a MOM Event. Amy Smith know that when she was taken out of the building on an errand that she would return to a surprise baby shower!

On Thursday, July 12 - the Cornerstone Women got together to see the One Day Showing of SINGIN' IN THE RAIN at the Cinemark Theatre. It was a great way to beat the heat in the region! The movie was shown at 2 and at 7 PM.
